刚刚收到AVIS的邮件，

What happened?

We discovered on 5 August 2024 (Eastern Time), that an unauthorized third party gained access to one of our business applications. After becoming aware of the incident, we immediately took steps to end the unauthorized access, began an investigation with assistance from cybersecurity experts, and alerted the relevant authorities. Based on our investigation, we determined that the unauthorized access occurred between 3 August 2024 and 6 August 2024 (Eastern Time).

What personal data was involved?

We determined on 14 August 2024, that your personal data was obtained by the unauthorized third party, which included your name and your postal address, driver’s license, credit card number and expiration date, and date of birth.

意思是啥都被盗光了嘛。。。这要怎么撕呢？

收到了mail。。。送了一年equifax会员。。

请教一下有经验的应该怎么处理呢？到目前还没看到盗刷，但更担心的还是identity theft。。

刚回复了那个邮件要补偿和免费的equifax，不知道后面要怎么处理

這種數據洩漏產生的負面後果從來就沒有被在法律層面上要求收集和持有數據的公司出血，這些公司根本就不在乎投資數據安全上面。需要立法來提高它們的成本，這樣他們才會投資在數據安全保護上。個人信息早就漏成蜂窩了，也不差這一家了。送的equifax會員幾乎零成本，也沒有預防意義。感覺毫無誠意。

是的，非nudist但被迫裸奔。

我非常欣賞的一位大佬幾年前就說過裸奔時代已經到來，需要立法來限制無節制使用數字裸照來針對個人 :yaoming:

没有收到avis邮件 但是8/9在巴黎看奥运会的时候邮箱被轰炸了。。。当时还在想怎么突然…原来是avis？！待会看看有没有mail
